Curlfest: The Ultimate Summer Picnic

I’m constantly thinking of ways to take the natural hair movement to new places, so this summer Curly Girl Collective took it outdoors with the very first natural hair festival! With great music, food trucks, fashion & beauty vendors, games and prizes, #Curlfest drew a crowd of over 1,000 beautiful women creating a sea of Afros, twist-outs, mohawks, and every style and texture under the sun, and tangible positive energy that had everyone asking about next year before the event was even over!
